How To Volunteer As a Youth Volunteer, you will be matched with a youngster based on shared interests, and commit to spending 3 hours a week with that child throughout the year. Our kids are in the program because they want to be, and are usually thrilled to spend any amount of time with you. The process is simple. Just come to an hour-long orientation session, attend a weekend training, and let us conduct a home visit with you. From there, we will match you! Our orientation sessions run twice a month, usually in the evening.
