Policies for Matches & Children on
Waiting List (Pre-Match)
- Events are for matches and pre-matches only (no siblings, or Juniors without Youth Volunteers).
- Youth Volunteers and pre-match parent(s)/guardian(s) are responsible for registering for an event.

- At times, YAY Staff will contact Youth Volunteers and parent(s)/ guardian(s) prior to an event.
How Do I Register?
- By email to: ablenman@yay.org
- By phone to: Andre - Events Coordinator @ 416.932.1919, ext. 231.
- Indicate which event you are interested in attending, the date of the event, your Case Coordinator’s name, and your contact information (cell #, email, etc.)
- A member of YAY staff will contact you to verify receipt of the message.
Last-Minute Events
- Various events offered by YAY may include "last minute" opportunities to sporting events and/or concerts.
- These tickets usually come in late (day before or day of event) and therefore YAY staff will call individuals on the waiting list; if you are not home a message will be left for you with all of the details and the response deadline.
What If I Cannot Attend?
- If you have already signed up for an event and find that you are unable to attend, you must contact your Case Coordinator to verify you won’t be able to attend; failure to call to cancel may result in loss of ability to attend events for the next 3 events offered.
